Kitty's Big Trouble

This continues the Kitty Norville series.
Kitty's midnight paranormal radio show is thriving, and she is also trying to determine what past celebrities might be paranormal - like maybe, William T. Sherman and if Wyatt Earp a vampire hunter. She hunts down the last vampire from a massacre in Kansas (and stakes him to a new death) but finds a clue to her archenemy, Roman. She and her werewolf husband head for San Francisco at the behest of a vampire and all are thrown into a vampire power struggle, with them and their friend Cormac being under constant attack. Good thing Kitty and Ben are werewolves and heal fast. So all they have to do is survive, save the pearl of immense power from Roman who builds armies with it, and get back in time for her next broadcast
I love the fact that Kitty is the name of a werewolf, and the humor that gets dropped into the nonstop action. The characters are empathetic and mysterious, our heroine's sarcastic wit is fun and fans of Jim Butcher will appreciate her. Definitely a keeper in the Urban Fantasy Genre.
