Alec and Seregil play the roles of disolute nobles, but are skillful spies.

When they discover plots against the Queen loyalties are tested, intrigue is rampant as the war goes badly, a plague decimates the population. The spies find staying alive is a major challenge.

This is a great mystery/fantasy, full of conspiracies twists and action in a fully realized world. I couldn't put it down. I am gonna try to find the rest of the series for my bookshelves as well. Enjoy. ~~ Pam Allan
