This is the fourth novel in the Deadtown series of urban fantasy.

Vicky Vaughn is Boston 's only certified demon exterminator/slayer, but her clients are disappearing. The culprit is her demi-demon cousin and bitter enemy who wants to regain his powers and take control of the world. Vicky must solve the mystery, bargain with powers beyond hers and deal with a prophecy she has been trying to avoid. Oh yes, and save her lover. The action is fast and furious [literally] and the characters are well drawn. The suspense never flags from the opening pages where Vicky plays show and tell against her will and is left unarmed to fight a harpy in school of zombies, one of the funniest scenes in fantasy.

Will you enjoy this book on all levels? Yes. And you will want to start reading them all. Who needs a rainy afternoon? ~~ Pam Allan
