Heroes of Olympus Book Three: The Mark of Athena
by Rick Riordan
Hyperion, $ 19.99, 574pp
Release Date: October 2, 2012
Here is a tale of seven young demigods from the Greek and Roman half-blood camps working together trying to counter the waking of their greatest enemy, Gaea. Her family will give them problems. But sadly, a couple will literally fall...

It is suggested to read all the Percy Jackson books including Heroes of Olympus One and Two with The Demigod Diaries before reading this tome. Otherwise, confusion galore if you are not familiar with Greek/Roman mythology and/or overall story arcs.

Not bad. An interesting take on culture clashes. Surprises. I am curious about how this series will end. Recommended to fans of Percy Jackson and/or readers of fantasy groups like in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. ~~ Jeffrey Lu
