Kitty Steals the Show
by Carrie Vaughn
Tor, $7.99, 352pp
Release Date: July 31, 2012
This is the tenth entry in the Kitty Norville series.

Kitty, Ben and Cormac are off to London for the First International Conference on Paranatural Studies where Kitty is scheduled to be the keynote speaker. Of course, wherever Kitty goes there is sure to be trouble and London is no exception as scientists, protesters and supernatural beings from all over the world converge on the conference. As if that wasn’t enough potential trouble, some of Kitty’s old enemies surface as well.

We learn more about the vampire’s Long Game, revisit some old friends and meet some new ones. Overall, a satisfying entry in the series with some questions being answered while, of course, more are created. Ms Vaughn has created a wonderful series with interesting and sympathetic characters and wonderful, involved plotting. I cannot wait for the next one. Highly recommended - Stephanie L Bannon
