Shadow Blizzard
by Alexet Pehov
Tor, $26.95, 447pp
Release Date: April 24, 2012

This is the third volume of the Chronicles of Siala, following Shadow Prowler and Shadow Chaser, with translation by Andrew Bromfield

Shadow Harold, Master thief, finally enters the underground complex where the Rainbow Horn is hidden. With only his wits, he must accomplish what armies and magic have failed to do. There are still multiple obstacles in his way.

Pehov slides beautifully into classic epic fantasy and Shadow Harold is a delightful hero in a believable world. There are characters of every bent as well as mysteries, twists and turns as the thief must save his country from destruction. This is a great fantasy losing nothing in translation. You won't want to put it down. Worth collecting. Enjoy. ~~ Pam Allan
