The experimental drug, Returne, brought Bryn Davis back after she died. She is now able to live her life with regular doses of the drug; but for how long? Returne addicts are disappearing - does the government or corporation or, yes, madmen have different plans? Bryn has a funeral home, a fragile romance, and a support group for returning addicts. She has more than enough to do without dealing with the government or whoever is trying to close her down...literally.
