Ghost of a Dream
by Simon R Green
Ace, $7.99, 304pp
Release Date: September 4, 2012
This is the third in the Ghostfinders series.

The Carnacki Institute’s operatives have a mission – to find ghosts and lay them to rest or at least get rid of them. The team consists of team leader, the arrogant JC Chance, science geek, Melody Chambers, and telepath, Happy Jack Palmer.

This time the Ghost Finders are investigating problems at the Haybarn Theater. The abandoned theater is being renovated but some peculiar and unnatural activities are interfering with the work. Recovering from the events of their previous assignment, the team thinks that a haunted theater will be easy - but they are in for an unpleasant surprise when they run into the Phantom of the Haybarn.

While I am fonder of both the Nightside and Secret Histories series, this is a fun series with clever dialogue. Recommended ~~ Stephanie L Bannon.
