The Ice Dragon

This is a new edition of Martin’s children’s tale with new illustrations by Luis Royo.
Adara is a child of winter, born during the worst freeze anyone could remember. As long as she could remember, she had seen the Ice Dragon during winter, at four years old she touched it for the first time and at five she rode it for the first time. When war comes to her village during the summer of her seventh year, fiery dragons from the north come bringing death and destruction. Only the Ice Dragon that loves Adara can save them.
This is a quick read with enchanting illustrations. It is a tale of love and sacrifice. Parents will want to read this to, or at least with, their children and be prepared to explain some concepts to them as Martin pulls no punches in the reality of war.
A must for every Martin fan, highly recommended. ~~ Stephanie L Bannon
