Dungeons & Dragons Mimic Treasure Chest Notebook Set
Illustrated by Eric Belisle
Clarkson Potter, $27.99
Published: August 2024

I had my grandchild, who plays D&D, review this with me.

They thought the design of the box was clever and very charming. There was room in the box for the five enclosed notebooks with an empty insert box for the user to keep their dice, pencils or other gaming accessories. They loved the art on the five books and commented on the quality of everything; the box is sturdy and the paper is smooth and heavy.

They would have liked the books to be a bit more useful; perhaps a cover page for each book with space for character names, etc. Two of the books are lined paper, two are graphed, and one is dotted.  They thought each book should be identical with a section for each kind of paper within each notebook.  But they did think the notebooks will be easy to use during a game.  Overall, it's really attractive and would be an excellent gift to your D&D gamer.    ~~ Catherine Book w/Adri
