What to Expect at RandomCon
If you're there to play, you will likely want to sign up for games before the convention, making arrangements with Event Coordinators and Game Masters, etc.
This will benefit you, to ensure you are scheduled to attend the game you are interested in and hold a seat at the gaming table.
Of course it will also benefit the Event Coordinator: they will know exactly how many players to expect and adapt their game accordingly. Furthermore, if you get in touch with Game Masters in advance, you will probably have a chance to ask questions about the game and the type of character you will get to play.
If you don't want to be tied down by signing up for games in advance, you will have two options.
Option ONE: you can show up to the game table and hope there is an open seat and the Event Coordinator lets you join in.
Option TWO: sign-up at the information desk, where our volunteers keep track of available games and any Open Gaming tables available. The Event Coordinators get to see their game's sign-up sheet beforehand.
If you are an Event Coordinator, you will be expected to arrive on time, allow onlookers if there is room and they are not disturbing your games (if there's a problem, just get in touch with one of the convention volunteers), be courteous and have fun!
If there is a change in your schedule, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can keep updated records at the information desk.
And finally, if there's anything we can do to enhance you and your players' gaming experience, before of at the con, let us know!
We need Game Masters, Narrators, Storytellers!

And if you feel like hosting a game at any point for a later time during the con, come talk to the volunteers at the Information Desk so that they can change the roster of games still open. Also, this ensures that you reap the benefits of volunteering your time running games: if you volunteer to run 12 hours of gaming at the convention, you can get into the next RandomCon for free! Check out the Sign Up page for more info on volunteering.
