DISABLED SERVICES


Needs:

Computer and Internet Access
Organizational Skills
People Skills
Communication Skills
Patience
A staff of at least 3 people
Time Needed Pre-Con - 1-2 hours weekly
Time Needed At Con - Daily 6-8 hours

PRE-CON

Examines venue for possible access problems
Creates list of near-by services such as closest emergency vet, 24-hour pharmacy, ER, repair services for wheelchairs, etc
Creates request list for assistance
Is primary contact point for those with access questions or needs

AT-CON

Mans the DS desk (usually located with volunteers and info desk) to assist those with on-site needs
Co-ordinates with security and programming to ensure seating assistance for those with needs

POST-CON

Creates report on site and on requests
