Time Needed Pre-Con - 1-2 hours weekly
Time Needed At-Con - 4-6 hours daily plus auction time

OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Used Manga/Anime/Game auction is a chance for the attendees to get rid of their unwanted items and buy items from other attendees that they may want.

PRE-CON

Creates rules for Auction and has Chair and Banker approve them
Creates forms for sellers and buyers
Makes enough copies of both.
Recruits auctioneer, runners and staff for auction

AT-CON

Sets up in assigned location to collect auction lots from sellers.
Makes sure auction items are securely stored pre-auction
Transports items to auction site
Sets up auction items for inspection
Hands out bidder numbers
Runs auction
Collects all unsold items and keeps them secure
Takes payment from buyers

POST-CON

Gives all hard-copy and electronic paperwork to Banker within 2 weeks of convention’s end.
Arranges for all unsold items to be returned to sellers unless other arrangements were made pre-convention.
